Having uninstalled Windows Live Mail from my PC which uses the Windows XP Home Edition OS, I am now looking for a better alternative to Outlook-Express.

I tried Mozilla Thunderbird in the past, but could not get on with it, so I uninstalled that as well.

Are there any other FREE email clients worth trying as an alternative to OE?

    Hi

Think you running out of options as Live Mail and Thunderbird are great options for free, Microsoft Outlook is also a great option but its not free, so only ones left are using online email Gmail, yahoo, MSN, Live, Hotmail etc but via http.

Eudora is only one left that I would suggest HERE

I'm wondering why both Windows Live Mail and Outlook Express are unsatisfactory; I think they both work quite well. Anyway, I'll suggest another option. Install the Opera browser. It has embedded email client that handles POP3 and IMAP mail.
