    Hey people,

I have had an email sent from my account without any idea it was beings sent. I am unsure how it happened. The only thing that happened was I received a message via facebook about an item I was selling and it was clearly spam so I sent them a 'get stuffed' reply.

HEre is a copy of the email it sent that my friend emailed to me. All advice welcome...

    "Hi friend
    Introduce you a good website;*www.ele-trade.com*
My friend tom introduce me this website, it is a large wholesaler who trade mainly in all kinds of electronice products. To my surprise , their products are very low in price and high in quality .
I bought an iphone from this website last month, and the iphone works very well! I think it is a shopping paradise which can bring you much benefit, so i want to share it with you!
    best regards!

Ok further to this I have run the scans as requested and I will post these up shortly. Problem is now is it is showing my music and my picture as having zero information and almost every folder has desktop.ini in it!

OK sorry for the blonde moment... I have no sorted desktop.ini that was just me being a plonker.

I also followed the guide list here (which is awesome!!) and that seems to have solved any issues I might have (only thing that came up was Kazaa).

I was just wondering HOW people are able to send emails from your account without actually logging into it? I visited a site called steak and cheese as a buddy showed me a funny video. The site was a litte dodgy I guess and in the right hand window a msn style window popped up which I closed. Could this have been the cause?

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Anyone receiving an e-mail that purports to be from you can go to file / properties / details and it will show the actual place that it is coming from. It is a "spoofed" email.
