Email is all gone, where did it go

:cryOutlook Express 6.0 all security updates installed.
Open OE and "ALL MY EMAIL IS GONE"!!! INBOX, OUTBOX, SENT DELETED ALL GONE!!!!!!!:cry
Has anyone seen this?
The account is still there, configuration is all correct, I can send, I can receive, no problem but "WHERE DID ALL OF MY EMAIL GO"?:confused

 

Was there a number of the security update you installed.

Have you tried a system restore to go back before the update was installed

 

"ALL SECURITY UPDATES INSTALLED" what part of that do you not understand?

I was actually going to attempt to go onto MS website and research the update to see what it may delete and read the install notes to see what may have happened. I tried to find it under what you posted all security updates installed and it gave me numerous choices.
I'll keep searching maybe while I'm looking someone will post a resolution to your problem.

 

Do a search for .dbx files on your computer. They contain your OE email messages. Let us know if you find them.

 

I agree with usafeveteran, search for *.dbx and see if they can be located
