POP Peeper is my favorite "notification" type of email utility program which can accomplish what you want. You can download it from here at Major Geeks as well.

Suggestion: The POP Peeper program is relatively easy to set up; and will notify you of an unlimited number of different accounts.

However I would additionally suggest a thorough read of the included HELP files (after installation) in order to get the most out of it.
