Email Problem Or Something Else? Yikes!

I suddenly got nearly 100 emails welcoming me to various blogs (some in foreign languages), memberships, and one order placed on my Lowes.com account (with credit card saved there) for nearly $1,000. Also, when I was going through Wayfair.com, looking at lots of rugs, I kept getting "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests and not a robot."

This makes me think it's more than just an email problem! Steps I've taken:
1. Cancelled Lowes order, cancelled associated credit card, changed Lowes password
2. Left my usual Firefox (is this my "operating system?"), went to Internet Explorer (on same computer) and changed the password to my email.
3. Went back to Wayfair.com to see if I still get the alert shown above, and I still do. (I'm also still getting some more emails showing "I" signed up for various sites.

I'm scared! I've started changing the passwords to my bank accounts, but I don't know if this will do any good if my computer has been taken over. I just use the Windows Defender Security that came with the Windows 10 upgrade last summer and it says everything's OK. But it's obviously not. HELP!

 

You should only change those passwords on a completely different computer that you know is safe, as it is likely yours isn't.
This is now really the wrong forum. You need the SPECIALIST Malware Forum and create a new thread there AFTER you have first carried out all the steps in the Read & Run Me First Malware Removal Guide. posted the logs. Then a trained expert will help you.
