email trouble

    my hubby has outlook email. He just got a new computer & when he receives email attchments called thunderbird, they won't open. What do I need to download to fix this? I tried downloading thunderbird but it was an email program & he uses outlook express ONLY. Yes, he is stubborn. ANyway he wants me to fix it. Anyone got a magic wand?

    Do you have firefox installed as thunderbird opens in firefox. If not install it and set Firefox to be your default browser
