EMCO MoveOnBoot 2.1.8 version wrong?

I downloaded EMCO MoveOnBoot 2.1.8 from MG ( McAfee Site Advisor warned about bad file but I downloaded it anyway. On install the file version is indicated was 2.1.6. I uninstalled it and compared the downloaded file with the version 2.1.6 which I had downloaded on 30th May 2010. The two files are exactly the same according to CDCheck.

Also, out of curiosity I went to Softpedia and re-downloaded the only version they have listed which is 2.1.6. McAfee Site Advisor did not pop up with a warning message.

So, I am confused as to why MG has EMCO MoveOnBoot listed as version 2.1.8, and also why McAfee Site Advisor would warn me about the download from MG but not from Softpedia.

Can you clarify these items for me please?:confused
