    What makes people emo? and what exactly is emo?

    im not sure what makes people emo.. i guess life does. confused

    To the best of my knowledge an emo person is very emotional (hence emo lol).. they always sing/talk about how they are feeling or about thier feelings.

    There are alot of bands considered emo now

    Just think Goth with color added. Sort of like in the 80s when Rock became Glam Rock. Goth gone Glam is the Emo look sort of. But there are alot of darker sides associated with it. Self mutilation. And I don't mean tattoos and piercings.
