    Hi

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

How did you remove Emisoft AntiMalware, did you use Add/Remove or just delete the folders? if you deleted the folders then thats your problem, you may need to re-install it and then use Add/Remove to uninstall or use Revo Uninstaller HERE.

What other Security software do you have installed? please name all? as running multiple security applications is not advisable as it can cause software issues.

Can you boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot) ok?

If you ran Emisoft Antimalware, did it find any malware? and if so did you remove it?

i went to the site, contacted the ppl & no such luck. so then i went on there later and they had live people. so i got on there and finally after like two hours we got it off. I WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN! i am just shock that this site dont research/test the things they recommend, b/c i got it from it. it was a feature product! i will never use them for this reason & they never contact you if you email them, but lie & say we will get back in 24 hours or less. it's been what three days since i downloaded it & tried to contact them by email. i yet to see anything in my inbox! now i am going to re-clean the entire computer with "read me first" page and see what happens then...

    Hi

What site did you goto? and what live people?

Thats just the thing is that we do test every application thats listed out and the software your speaking of I have run myself and its been fine as have others, Majorgeeks does test each application out unlike many other download sites who do not! Sadly we or anyone cannot factor in a specific PCs setup and that an given applicaiton will work ok, it may not.

What are you doing and this read me first is?

The internet is always a pain in the behind as text typed at times doesnt reflect the conversation that you would have in person with someone, so dont take my comments above a argumentitive as they are not, they just are trying to get to the issue you have from your cryptic postings.

Ah ok, Chas's guide is good and will highlight if you have any malware on your PC, and the malware removal team will sort you out if you have any malware, kind of dont think you have but its best to be safe.

Do let us know in this thread how you get on and remember to start a new thread in the malware removal forum area and attach the logs from the guide.
