enableing HDR on Far Cry

How do you enable HDR on Far Cry?plz tell me because Far Cry looks good but I want to make it look better.plz tell me!!:yum :major

well that tweak guide did help.But it didnt enable HDR at all the way it told me to but I asked around and found out.But I got another question how do you enable self shadowing in far cry?because I dont know if it would be the same way as I did with the HDR (which was adding -DEVMODE "r_hdrrendering 7" to the shortcut icon)If you know plz tell

 

It worked for me, using that command except within the game using the console (some levels of HDR work better than others). The tweak guide has a decent amount of commands, and if there was a self-shadowing tweak I'm sure he would've mentioned it.

 

Well he did but the way he siad to do it never worked with the systemcfgoverride.cfg file he siad to make and put the HDR and self shadowing code into.(http://www.tweakguides.com/Farcry_9.html) I tried it that way and it wont work.so is there any other way to enable self shadowing like the HDR(-DEVMODE "r_hdrrendering 7"to the shortcut)?

 

Try taking out the quotes. Some commands might not work with -devmode (try taking out -devmode?), but I think I remember using \r_hdrrendering [0-11] in the in-game console after manually enabling devmode (the \ is used for in-game console commands), which has the same effect but only lasts until the game is exited.
If that doesn't work, try manually enabling it from in-game using the above format. I've never tried using the commands with the shortcut, so I can't say what works.

 

I'll try that(hope it works).Ill tell ya the results I get.
