    Hi,
I have come across many ways and methods to encode your email address on your website to stop spam bots / harvesters from discovering your email address and sending spam to you. There are so many though that I'm not sure which to go for.

Check out Mail-SpamAssassin-3.2.4 -- has anyone used this?

Does anyone have experience of using a particular proven method?

    Thank you.

I think what you're talking about is "email obfuscation", where you put your email on your site in ACSII codes, and/or hexadecimal, instead of plain text.

I use this site to generate the code for me. It lets me chose a random mix of ASCII and hex. Haven't got any more spam than I ever have since posting a few addresses online.

Spam Assassin, AFAIK, is a program for dealing with spam after its arrival, where obfuscation is a preventative measure.
