    Hey

Just doing a college project in java and it has to be portable between windows and linux.

Just wondering is the endline statement \n portable to linux if not what is?

it should be.. it's common throughout the computing world and I've no problem using it PHP or Perl (blech!)..

C handles this across Linux and DOS/Windows too... I'd be pretty surprised if something this trivial failed...
