    The folks at http://www.pandoradiscussionarea.com/ let us know that they are giving a way a couple (2) of Energi To Go iPod chargers. They're worth about $30 per.

    They sent us one of the units to try out. I couldn’t test out the life of the unit as, well my iPod somehow got into the hands of my nephew and...well … lets just say I hope it is still in warranty. But the product looks pretty slick.

    You just drop a couple AA’s in flip out the bottom and it will extend your battery life without stopping your music. Energi To Go iPod charger works with most iPods and comes with One reusable Energizer Energi To Go charger and applicable connectors and Two Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries

    Well, i think that I need it, because I don't even have power at my house, i'm using my internet at the school and I sneak my ipod into the school to charge it. All I can do at home is listen to my ipod and only half the time at home because it runs out of batteries. I buy cd's and have hacked my computer at my school to be my media center with all my music.

    You'll have to take pity on me as I have to go into hiding in a cold damp freezing hideout as Lev is coming to the UK and I will only have my iPod for company :)

    I have a pretty sweet 2nd job that allows me to listen to my ipod while I work. Having one of those chargers would ensure I could keep my sanity working both jobs. You see, sometimes I just don't have time to charge my ipod and then I have to spend 8 hours in silence. I would love to have one, but I defer to someone more needy than I. For me, it would be a luxury item so I'd be happy to see them go to people that really need them. :major

    Well for one, my iPod's battery life SUCKS. I already had one replaced on warranty and now this one is starting to crap out too. I dont want to pay to have it replaced again since the warranty is over. My ipod is my LIFE! I use it every day, all the time. Walking to and from classes (i have a LOT of walking on my campus lol), while studying, in the car with an FM transmitter (dont have a car charger either :(), on road trips etc...basically everywhere I go. Ive had it die on me a few times which is not fun, ESPECIALLY when you have a few more monotonous hours in the car. Im in college so I cant really afford many "luxuries" lol I would love to try one of these out. If I get picked I'd try to write some sort of review or whatever for those who are considering purchasing one. THANKS!

    Sorry - touch of the flu - a little behind here, but I think we have to go with:
    1) epithanatios - that's an easy one. Can;t have a geek sneaking around stealing power, now can we?
    2) viper_boy403 - for admitting IPod battery life sucks and willingness to write a proper review. (got to love an ambitious college student)

    Lev and Halo canceled themselves out. Had one or the other not wanted to here what the other was saying – then they would have been in the running. But, having both sitting in the UK tuning out in silence would have made a very boring message board for 8 days. not to mention, what would FlatTim have to do during that time?
