ENTER Dialer keeps coming back

    Hello all,

I've managed to pick up a dialer which leaves a connection labelled "ENTER" in my connections folder. As I'm on broadband, it can't actually dial out to an expensive number, so the only effect I see is that my normal broadband connection is disconnected every 30 mins or so.

I've followed ALL the instructions in the "READ AND RUN ME FIRST" sticky but have had no luck. All the scanners point towards some files buried in my C:\WINDOWS\Temp directory as being the source, but whenever they're deleted they spring back for more.

Enclosed are my Bitdefender, Activescan, Shownew, GetRunKey and Hijack This logs. I hope someone can help me!

... and here's the Panda Activescan one. It claims I have a few little bits of adware (doubleclick.net etc), but also catches the dialers.

This is what Hijack This gives me (I did the appropriate renaming)

Well, I managed to hunt it out myself; I think!

A quick run round Google revealed that this:

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: winmyy32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winmyy32.dll

... was my problem. I asked Hijack This to fix it, then rebooted into safe mode and deleted the file in question. I ran CCleaner to make sure all my temporary internet files and C:\WINDOWS\TEMP directories were completely clean, then restarted.

I had already deleted the dialer connection, and so far there's no sign of any reoccurence!

I didn't think I'd be smart enough to kill it off myself, but there you go; a few Google searches for "dialer ENTER," "dialer winmyy32.dll" and just "winmyy32.dll" led me to the result.

Good luck to everyone else out there!
