erase dvd software

Is there a program that I can use to erase my dvd rw's? Basically, I have an Liteon DVD burner for my tv (link below), and when I erase the discs, it fails, and they become corrupted. I have "Sonic" software on 1 of my comps, but it is one that I rarely use, and the computer is slow. I know imgburn, will erase a dvd when I burn something, but I want the dvd's blank. Any ideas? thx,

Under Tools, in the Drive section of the dropdown menu, is the option to erase rewriteable discs. Also, under the EZ-picker mode in the Write Image or Files/Folders options, is a small disc icon with a reddish rectangle. This will also erase a disc.
