Error 0x800F0201

    Does anyone know what this error 0x800F0201 is?
    OS is Windows 2000. I encountered it trying to uninstall tcp/ip.
    Please let me know.

    Used winsockfix 1.2 already. Did not fix the problem. No viruses on multiple scans. No spywares detected by multiple checks.

    Try completely removing the network card:

    First, remove it from the device manager (uninstall) and then physically remove it from the machine..

    Reboot. Then shutdown and replace the card and install drivers if necessary.

    (make sure you have drivers for the network card before you do this)
