    Hi. I have the same problem as the OP in the above linked post. I'm running WinXP pro, and am attempting to use the add/remove windows components button. The dll file mentioned was not in the dllcache folder for me. It was already in the setup folder. Also, my sysoc.inf file looks exactly like the one posted.

    Any ideas?

    If this just started, have you tried restoring the computer to an earlier date?

    Kelly's Korner has something for msmqoc.inf
    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_m.htm
    She says to remove the line
    msmq=msmqocm.dll,MsmqOcm,msmqocm.inf,,6

    Open the file in notepad and remove the line and reboot. If it isn't fixed, open the file again in notepad and insert the line again.

    Tried that and it didn't work :(.
    And, actually, it seems I was a bit confused. The error message I'm actually getting is this: "Setup library fp40ext.dll could not be loaded, or function FrontPage4Extensions could not be found... error code is 0x7e."

    I can't remember where now, but I did some research and it ended up being related to msmq.

    I have the dll. That's not the problem. I still get the error.
