Error Code: -5004 : 0x80070005 - installshield. KOTOR 2

Hey,
Ive been trying to install Star Wars KOTOR 2 but every time I click install on the autorun the installhield wizard pops up with the following error message (below).
I have tried to install it on a friends laptop and it started up fine.
Any help to fix this issue would be muchly appreciated

The Standard Req for your game is P4, 512 MB Ram, 512 Video Memory (With Vertex & Pixel Shader - (ATI Radeon 9200 or NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti or better) , does your laptop meets the requirements. Tell yours as well as your friends laptop requirements.
