Error Code: "WindowsUpdate_80070490" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

"WindowsUpdate_80070490" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

I received this error code today while doing this weeks updates. I have had no problems up to this time. I have followed MS prompts to use the SURT with no help. I have not tried using the System Disk and was hoping not to have to do so. It just seems a bit radical to me to have to do so.

Any other ideas as to correct this problem.

Hi plodr, I tried the Fix It to no avail. While attempting to correct the problem manually I came to these problems on step 5 and stopped. I did restart the Bits before abandoning the process.
