Error message on Start up

    Hello. I had trouble with a Vundo Trojan last week, and think that has been fixed by using the Vundo removal tool, and reloading Windows XP, but I am getting a message on startup saying

    Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\htdegqck.dll
    The specified module could not be found.

    Can anyone provide any clues of what to do to fix it please?

    Most likely it is Vundo.

    You should make a trip to the malware removal forum. They will get you fixed up over there. Be sure to stare with the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
