error message question

hi guys.. the last few days i have been getting an error message ( windows explorer has encountered a problem & needs to close) then dr watson encountered a problem & needs to close. my pc freezes up and i lose my task bar icons. strange thing is it only happens when i open the my documents folder. anyone came accross this before?

 

Check your disk for errors (scandisk/checkdisk, whatever it's called). Try to "explore" your "My Documents" folder with some alternative file manager (a DOS box may do the trick) to see what's there. Try to delete/rename suspicious entries. Something like that, I guess...
