error message with hjt

hi, i am cleaning a friend's pc, i tried to parse her hjt log at network tecs for a bit of added info when i got this message -
'Critical Error! Your log contains HTML tags. Valid HijackThis logs should not have HTML tags. Are you *sure* you're using this system for analysing your HijackThis logs?'
can anyone explain this, i have installed and ran avg, spybot, ad-aware, defender, ccleaner. avg picked up a virus and deleted it, ad-aware fixed a few problems, spybot and defender came up clean, microsoft malware remover removed the ones it found, ran them all again and all clean (after re-boot and in safe mode) and i googled the hjt, ta

 

Online HJT parsers aren't very reliable. The databases require constant updating, and I can tell you that the one at NetworkTechs hasn't been updated in quite some time.

Post the HJT log, and I'll take a look.

The first one is a browser redirect to a Yahoo page. The second is a left over entry from MSN toolbar.
