error messages

I get error messages every time I reboot or try to connect to the internet. I have run the programs you listed for malware and this has not helped.

 

If you listed the errors it might help us find your problem .

What operating system and service pack level?

How do you connect to the Internet?

 

My operating system is Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack 3
I have cable internet (comcast)
This an example of several of the error messages I get
Error messages:

lifeexp.exe Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because of sfcwall.dll was not found, reinstalling this application may fix this problem

Googletoolbarnotifier.exe Unable to locate componnt
This application has failed to start because of sfswall.dll was not found,
reinstalling this application may fix this problem

Mcagent.exe Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because of sfcwall.dll was not found,
reinstalling this application may fix this problem

 

Judging solely by the fact that the .dll's you quoted do not turn up in Google searches other than references back to this thread, I think this is due to an infection. I think you need to go back to your thread in the Malware section of the forum and begin by following the instructions given by chaslang in his first reply to you.
