Error on "16 bit MS DOS Sub System"

This is my error message:

C:\windows\sub32\msupdate.exe
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
CS:1335 IP:37bop:ff ff 00 00 00

Press close

This error occures on every startup, the computer works fine each time but what is this error and should I fix it?

 

Rename msupdate.exe to something like msupdate.exe_, reboot and tell us if the error message still pops up.

Now is this a programme I need or can I leave it as is?
