error on start up

Hi all i have just cleaned my pc of all malware etc but i am getting this error ons startup

Logon UI.exe - aplication error the instruction at ofxbcde 793 reference memory at 0x00000000 the memory could not be read

i need to delete on ok a few times then it seems to start ok although it seems to take a while ..any one know what this is and how to stop it

I suggest first running the system file checker in case the Logonui.exe got corrupted during the malware cleaning.

Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
At the command prompt, type the following line, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
When the scan is complete, reboot and see if your symptoms have changed.

 

Hi thanks for that i ran the scan and now am starting ok no errors ,, after the scan though it said : windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to repair some of them details are included in the
CBS.LOG
windir\logs\cbs\cbs.log
C:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log

im not to sure what these file are as i could not find them ..
