    Help!!!
For about three weeks now when I try to get into my MSN messenger it'll sometimes say that there's a problem connecting(errorOx81000370) ...when I go to troubleshoot it'll ask if it can fix system errors, and I'll say yes. When it's done it says there's no errors...then I'll go back to try and log in and the same thing will happen...I've checked the MSN system and everything's working...I've tried signing in with another account, and still the same! In the past I've been able to fix this problem by restoring my system to another time, but that's not working anymore...I hope someone can help me fix this because that's the only way I have to talk to a friend of mine, and both him and me are getting tired of this and want it fixed I was told that you guys were the ones to ask if I was gonna fix this soooo,...Please help!!!

I will post this to get you and the thread going but let me make it clear, I DO NOT KNOW THE CAUSE OF IT. However I can tell it is a connectivity issue that could have been caused by a few things. The error message 0x8 (if referring to NetBIOS-TCP/IP protocols) simply states the communication is in the 'Hybrid mode' (H node) where Windows normally would be using P node and if it failed would be using the B node if I am not mistaken.
In plain English, network related system files or just the MSN application files could have been damaged.
Are you running the lates version of MSN Messenger? If not have you tried updating?
Are you using any kind of Internet Security or Firewall type of program at the time of the error? If yes try disabling them first.
Has your system experienced any type of malware infections recently? If not have you scanned your system for that? (just to make sure).

If none of these are applicable, please provide more info on your operating system, version of MSN, how long the problem existed, etc that would help me and possibly other who could help understand and analyze your problem much better.
    Good night.
    :)
