Microsoft support wasn't any help, so...

I keep getting error messages in Windows XP Prof. every 5-10 seconds with the title ''WMP54Gv4.exe -- Application Error"

    The messages read as follows:

    1) The instruction at "0x77f52b58" referenced memory at "0x000a0195". The memory could not be "read".

    2) The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000027) occured in the application at location 0x77e948b0.

'WMP54Gv4.exe' is a linksys wireless process, but other than that, I can't seem to find any info about these errors.

I have installed SP1 -- there were compatability issues with SP2 so I had to uninstall it -- and XP Pro v.2002.

    Any suggestions?

This is not an issue for this forum. This is the Spyware Specific Forum where actually any issues related to malware in general are covered. You questions belongs in another forum. Possible Software, Networking, or Hardware.

Would you like me to move it to one of them? Probably Software!
