Please try to explain more clearly what your current problem is.

Do you get to the Windows Login screen?
    Do you get further?
Do you see any error messages at all? If so, give the exact word for word error message?
Do all the same exact issues occur in safe boot mode?
Can you boot to safe mode with command prompt?
I assume you are connecting here with another PC???
Did you run or do anything other than ComboFix since you posted a HijackThis log in message number 3?

What do you mean the first 2 screens? Are you getting past the login screen and then your Desktop is blank? If so, can you open Task Manager (by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-ESC)?

No i mean as soon as you turn it on you get the first one that has option of goin into bios an the next one where has boot from Floopy/cd/dvd/HDD whichever you choose.

I dont get to the option to windows sign in.

Also another thing that may help is that when i ran combofix, it ran, did what it did then restarted an cam back up then after i tryed to restart again it wouldnt (leaving me in this postion)

Do you mean you ran ComboFix twice?

Or do you mean you ran it, it rebooted and your system came up okay and then you decided to reboot again??

Do you have your Windows XP boot CD? Based on all these symptoms you are more than likely going to have to do a repair install and if that does not work a reinstall may be necessary.

Yes i ran it once, decided to reboot, then bam.

I just have a windows cd that i put windows onto the computer with, Also my mo/bo allows a xpress recovery but i beilive that doesnt work either.

Ive put in the Xp disc i have an set bios to boot from cd/dvd an the it comes up with the one line "setup inspecting your hardware configuration"
Then that black screen of nothin :/

How can i reinstall if i cant get to anythin but bios an qflash?

When you posted message # 1 below, it sounded like you had software and or hardware issues.

Then I saw in your HJT log that you also had malware which was compounding your problems. But since HijackThis was not properly installed some items were not showing. And in addition, a HijackThis log was insufficient to show other problems that were most definitely hiding on your PC. And this was the reason we needed you to run the READ ME.

I also see you were attempting to work problems in more than one forum at the same time:

    http://forum.aumha.org/viewtopic.php?t=30747&sid=cd0221f016515f6e6336ece0f3566550

This was not a good idea. You should only work in one forum at anytime!

The current facts that you are giving again sound more hardware related since you cannot get the Windows XP boot disk to go past setup inspecting your hardware configuration. This could be the same reason why you cannot get to a Windows login screen when trying to boot in normal mode.

If your system cannot even boot up the Windows CD then there is nothing we can do for you in this forum as those problems are not due to malware.

I was at one point going to suggest running this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 but that was prior to hearing these current symptoms. The article from MS could help resolve issues in the registry that could have been preventing you from booting but now it appears that you issue could be with your hard disk. At this point it would probably be best to post in the hardware forum to try and determine if your problems are hard disk related. Do you have another harddisk you could try? I would disconnect the one you currently have and plugin another to see if you can either boot or at least get the Windows XP disk to proceed all the way thru to the point where you have a blue window with Welcom to Setup shown on the screen. You don't need to install anything on this second harddisk, I'm just suggesting it be used to confirm whether your current harddisk is the cause of your problem.

ok, ty for that. i was lookin towards the HDD.

Would there be anychance that somethin got to my HDD and ate at it? Causing it not to work?

So if an other HDD does work , that means new HDD or can the current one i have be fixed?

Also i thought i couldnt start another topic realating in the forums?

    Thanks again

    Cheers Sebarz

If you install a new hard disk, everything starts from scratch. That is there is nothing on it until you install the Windows OS and then you need to reinstall everything you use.
