I checked through the posts on code 10 but no help. I have a Broadcom in my IBM M51. I have downloaded the driver Lenovo says is for this computer but still get a no start code 10. Any ideas? Thanks PK.

Either the chip in the laptop has gone bad or there is a problem with one of the drivers which are part of the O/S and they typically don't get installed as part of the driver install.
You should check the Event Viewer for errors. Do Start -> Run -> EVENTVWR.MSC<enter>
You can also check the device manager if you enable nonpresent and hidden devices:
Do Start -> Run -> CMD<enter>, then type or paste the lines below.

    set DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1
    devmgmt.msc
    exit

You need to click View -> Show Hidden Devices and look in the Non-Plug-and-Play section.
