    Greetings from the UK

    I gather a few words of introduction are appreciated - so here goes!

    I have had a read through a few of the old posts and see that MG had a big face lift November 15 due to security issues. I sure hope everything is now under control........just in case I should not be telling you that I have been messing about with PC's since late Windows 95. The truth is, that here I am 20 odd years later and still a novice!!! So, although still on Windows7, I have at least finally managed to get several versions of Linux to run comparatively smoothly.........Zzzzz - that'll go crash now :eek:

    Hey welcome fellow UKer to the forum.

    Yes as mentioned earlier as soon as we knew of the vulnerability in the old forum software we moved to this one, which also you can set a two step login thats secure, but we monitor traffic on the forum.
    Best way to learn is to mess around with both building/repair of hardware and checking out as much of the functionality of Windows or 3rd party software, have to at times test/break things to see how they work.
