    Hi,

Can't get rid of 2 errors coming with almost every restart:

Faulting application name: lpksetup.exe, version: 6.1.7601.17514, time stamp: 0x4ce7a1f7
Faulting module name: msvcrt.dll, version: 7.0.7601.17744, time stamp: 0x4eeb033f
    Exception code: 0x40000015
    Fault offset: 0x000000000002a84e
    Faulting process id: 0xbe8
    Faulting application start time: 0x01cfd0297e802f4e
    Faulting application path: C:\Windows\system32\lpksetup.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\msvcrt.dll

    and

Name resolution for the name www. many sites .ro timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

I lost several days for trying to solve but with no result.

    Can you help please?

    hi plodr,

mine is 638 KB (653,312 bytes).
but I installed several language packs... are you sure on it?
it is located where it should be.

    thanks for looking!

No because I have no language packs installed anywhere.

Did you run sfc /scannow ?

I started looking at the faulting module msvcrt.dll, version: 7.0.7601.17744
and there are lots of posts with a different application mentioned each time.
I'm not sure what you have to do to fix it. The file has to do with C++

If this is a recent occurrence, I'd probably suggest that you restore to a time before you got these 2 errors.

So the errors only show up on a restart and not a cold boot?

    regardless of any boot...
I solved the 1000 problem (I have changed the temp cleanse folder) but I still can't get rid of the 1014 error.
