Got a call wanting to sell me a MS program that checks and catches any malware, spyware, snoop ware, and probably checks my underware (sic)
Ran event viewer and it listed what looked like every kind of error and warning conceivable. Looks like a list from pre Halloween,. Extensive is an understatement.
Something going on with my computer, email, online activities,etc I need to know of, fix or cure?
I declined purchase. I get email and phone calls all the time from doomsday doctors and their latest snake-oil programs.
Then again what is with all these errors and warnings?

Event viewer ALWAYS shows errors and warnings. (All our computers do and they are working fine). The snake oil salesmen use this as scare tactics. I'd advise you to stop looking at the event viewer and getting yourself upset for absolutely no reason.

Hang up on the phone calls and trash the emails!

If you have a specific problem with the computer, post it on the forum and someone will be along to help.

Oh well, at least reading it supported my gray hair crop, and keeps Pepto Bismol in business.
I'll add viewer to my take-with-a-grain-of-salt file
