Everest Home Edition\Report............

Has anyone downloaded the above from www.lavalys.com? If so, of what benefit is it. I find it informative but just wondered at it's worth. Thanks

Lots here use it. It's even available here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
It provides links for driver, firmware and BIOS updates, identifies hardware so you won't have to open the case and pull stuff out to find model #s and such, monitors sensors (if available), and more.

 

Wonderful program, more detailed than Belarc, which is also good. Beginners may find Belarc easier to navigate. But, I like Everest. It even provides suggetions as to driver updates, etc. It rocks.
