Everything I download says it has a virus

using windows 7, internet explorer, pc tools antivirus free

Have used read me first for years, and it's always worked. This time my issue is that that my web browsing is not letting me place orders or forward information onto webpages, will say page cannot be displayed on a lot of links I click on. Also, my firewall isn't up, and I cannot turn it on. Windows security center cannot be started.

Tried to start to download items needed to complete the read me first step by step. Everything I try to download says that it has a virus and was deleted. I am not even able to download anything in safe mode. Please help! I always rely on the readme first steps to save my computer, but now I'm helpless!

well, I started to do a little googling...and found that if I renamed my windows defender to "windows defender fake" I could download again. I used this link to remove the virus that had taken over my firewall and defender.

It removed a bunch of stuff.

I then did the read me first steps and everything came up clean. The logs are attached. I think I may be ok, but if I can get someone to review the logs to make sure that I didn't just hide the issue only to have it come back again. Thanks again, this site always helps me out of my computer jams!
