Everything is crashing!! Please Help

Hi guys and gals,

I have only just started experiencing a quick succession of multiple problems today. I have no idea if it is a virus, malware, hardware or software issue.

From my event viewer, I can see logs of various errors including:
Event ID 11 - source crypt32
Event ID 8 - source crypt32
Event ID 1000 - application error

I am having chrome crashing , and when I game the game either crashes or the whole game turns fragmented and with jumbled colors.

Hi Betty and welcome to Majorgeeks,

The first 2 errors seem to be related to being unable to reach MSFT servers to update certificates (to check the validity of websites). This could mean that, for instance, a proxy has recently been added to your system settings, breaking the old, direct route to the servers.

The third error looks like it could be indicative of the User profile being corrupt in some way.



Can you describe the exact details of what you were doing when these problems began to occur please?
