evga geforce 220gt ddr3 1mb

I orderd the evga 220gt ddr3 1mb. Have not recieved it yet, but would like to hear some feed back on the loud cooling fan. I know there is a bios update to fix the problem, but a u-tube video has poped up showing it to be loud still. I have a 120mm fan in the side of my case that blows right on my video card, do you think i could just unplug the cards fan and just use my case fan? For $89.00 w/ free shipping its a great deal. The performace is suppose to be great. One of the selling points was that it only uses 300w, so i dont have to up grade my psu, which is a ultra 400w. Let me know what ya think of the 220gt and the loud fan problem.......

 

I would not suggest unplugging the fan. You could overheat and kill the GPU on the card.
