Ewido reporting infections that others totally miss

I always follow the routines outlined in your recommendations regarding removing malware , however, I have also used Ewido Malware Removal but, recently, this has been scanning and finding 1471 infections in the registry. When I try to remove/clean these infections, the programme says it has done so, however when I look at the log it says that cleaning failed!

I have run the scan again in safe mode and it only finds 22 threats which are cleaned and have not returned however, when I switch back to normal mode and scan again, the same 1471 threats are located and the same outcome occurs.

I have tried to locate the thread in the regedit but it does not seem to have the folder that is causing the problem - could you please advise me with what to do now??
