Excel using Mac

Hi-

I am new to this so please forgive me if I break any protocols etc.

Simply put:

I am using Excel on a Mac

I have a looooong list of items and their prices.

Column F is my cost of an item.

I want to multiply EVERYTHING by 35% and have that figure placed into column G all the way down. That will be my selling price.

Please walk me through this as if you were speaking to a 4 year old.

For example:

In the G1 column, type: =F1*.35+F1

That will calculate the first value. Then simply click and "pull down" the selection box to coincide with each F value. It will automatically calculate it.

It works the same in Windows as OS X.

Thanks for your help and please let me know where the official thanks button is. I almost got it. It calculated the first which is actually G2 and I used F2 since the 1 row actually contains headings etc. I'm trying to pull down-it highlights in blue but nothing is happening. Also there are some interruptions by text for ex all the way across row 5 where in my case it says "Ladies Fragrances" etc. So I figured I would go right before that point but again, the only calculation that happens is for the first box - G2 which is correct. I feel close but no cigar! Can you tell me what the selection box is? Maybe I'm pulling down the wrong thing. I tried pulling down starting with the correction computation - then I tried pulling down the extreme left column.....
I'm close but not quite there. Can you help? Would you consider helping me from remote? Thanks much, MC
