I have an exchange 2003 server. The domains are set up as follows: city1.company.edu with multiple cities, same company. I am at city1.company.edu where all internal emails are sent and received just fine to my knowledge. Have not received complaints otherwise. user2@city2.company.edu sends an email to user1@city1.company.edu and the email is NOT received. user1 sends an email to user2 and the email IS received.

I also had a complaint that a different user at city1 has not been receiving emails, or received an email that was sent hours before they had gotten it. The same user sent an email from hotmail to the exchange domain, and did not get the email.

I tested both complaints and found that i am receiving the emails from both my own hotmail account, and from the same person from city2 as described in the first paragraph.

    Thanks for any ideas
