*.exe is not a valid Win32 application

I've downloaded Monster Farm Online it is in Japanese and I have switched my regional settings to Japanese as well hoping that would help resolve my problem. Perhaps the language/regional settings have nothing to do with it, I don't know. When ever I try to start the game it shows up as:

C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Desktop\MonsterFarmOnline.exe is not a valid Win32 Application

any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks for your time!

Hi

What Windows version are you using?

But in general when you get that error, the download is most likely corrupt, try downloading again. adn as its a largeish download try a download manager like this one and see if that helps.

Also check that the game supports your Windows version and hardware, would check but my Japanese is none existant, although did see a review somewhere else and its min spec is low anyway PIII 512kb ram and 64mb video

If that doesn't work, you may have to consider that some 3rd-party malware may be causing your problem: check out this thread...

I've downloaded it again and it seems to be working now thanks! Just need to work around the Japanese IP ban now, but I suppose that should be a different thread xD Thanks for your help!
