Exlporer error in XP

So, I don't know how this happened, but I've gotten this weird error.

I'll start up Windows, Explorer will load, and after all the icons are up, it'll suddenly crash. Then load, again. This goes on for a while until it just stops all together.

Thanks to Launchy, I'm still able to get into my applications, but I cannot go through my files or anything.

I've run Dial a fix and AWC. Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

I'd try running 'chkdsk c: /r' first (rebooting if needed). Next System Restore if you've got it turned on. Then Last Known Good Configuration. Then repair install of Windows.

If it still doesn't work, I'd backup the contents of the disk (probably using a live Linux CD) and then reformat and do a clean install.
