Exodus/kodi

I have a jailbroken amazon firestick that has exodus on it
I also have a trakt account
Exodus had been not authorized within Trak and I dont know to get it authorized(although when I deleted and re-installed Trakt, it sauys it is authorized)

anyone have any experience with this?

 

I mean it says "enabled"

thanks man Just Playin, but I've tried the google the heck out of this question, Ive watched the videos on youtube and eithier I'm just stupid as rock(yeah, maybe)
or there is so much to coverin this stuffmy quyestions are not answered
i did notice the video and the text from a few sites miss a key step in the setup of the kodi in exodus WHEN THEY ARE GIVING STEP by step directions
they miss saying you gotta click on settting and only then can go to configur
so if you followed their directions, youd still be lost

I can't get the trakt to send me the signal to enable it, where i type in the password
I it says ENABLED, but I can't get this step

You installed the TRakt add-on, got the pop-up window then went to the website 'https://trakt.tv/activate' it specified and entered the PIN number you got from the pop-up, right?

 

yes and no,
I got the popup at one time, BUT I am using kodi on the firestick and its on my tv, so I have no ability to go to a website and enter a pin
I did go to my computer and go to the site and was told "Your device is now connected and will automatically refresh in a few seconds"

so I use my kodi/exodus and I dont know how to get the trakt to work...so I cant see what shows I've watched

 

There is no 'yes and no'. If you won't make any effort to follow the directions, it won't work. Go to the Trakt add-on information screen in Kodi and select 'Configure' to get another PIN. Have the Trakt activation page open on your computer so you can enter the PIN there when you get it, then continue with the rest.

I just can't tell if it is working or not, I've watched a few shows, and how do I see a history or whatnot on the trakt addon?

 

What you write needs to be clear to others.

You don't look it up in the Trakt add-on. You see yourlists in Exodus. Did you set it up in Exodus yet?

I didnt set up exodus, it came on the firestick
I did have to add "Trackt"
I entered the pin from my computer
now
under EXODUS settings-->trakt...authorization
under Trakt Settings-->"default list--watchlist"

and under exodus seetting video ad ons--track.tv manager.enabled


I looked at the link you provided and I have no idea where or how to get to those menus ?
the very first "step"
We are going to focus on two specific Trakt features: Collection and Lists.

I have no idea how to find that, it says"from the profile menu", I looked under profile, it is not an option

I CAN go to exodus, highlight a show and then ADD it to TRACKtv LIST manager
then go to Tracktv adddon and select the list manager and see the movie I added, but cannot play the movie, I get told
"you need to open the context-menu to choose the action you want.

I dont know how to do that or how to get the trackmanager to auto addd what I watch

can you give help or what more info do you neeed?

 

I believe you would use the Menu button (the 3 line one) to get to the context menu with the fire remote. It was a friend's fire stick and it was a while ago.
