Hello, I am trying to find a simple freeware progrm that will allow me to expand my right click menu. I downloaded something on my last computer (* now I am using XP) and I could do anything! I had options like 'open in same window' 'view source code' 'copy path name' etc. I have tried all of the ones on this page:
    http://www.download.com/3120-2001_4...ack=&swlink=&gfiletype=&os=&li=49&dlsize=&ca=
and I can not get these options on my right click menu.

Anyone know of a program that would provide me what I am looking for?

OK, I'm a little confused? You are talking about a browser right? If so which browser? By default IE has all the options you listed. Open in same window is done by just clicking on a link, or right click and you open in a new window. view source is on there. and copy link can be done by just highlighting and copying.

Are you sure those are the options you're trying to add? There is a web developers one I use sometimes that allows options such as "view partial source". It also adds other things to your context menu's. You can get it here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/previous/webaccess/webdevaccess.mspx and don't worry it works on newer versions of IE as well.

Thanks for that link, Yes, I am referring to IE. (I have Firefox but there are only a hanful of tools for it)
For instance, using IE, when I right click on your handle, 'Coco', it reads
    Open
    Safe Target As
    Print Target
    Copy Shortcut
    Add to Favorites
    Answers...
    Properties

No, 'Open in Same Window' 'view source code' etc. Maybe I am remebering wrong but I used to be able to open anything in the same window using my right click menu.

The reason you don't se view source when you click my name is simply because that option shows when you arn't selecting a specific item. In other words right click anywheres on the page that isn't an image or a link and then the option is avaliable.

The copy shortcut thing shows, and the open in same window isn't on the right click menu. Mainly because by default things always open in the same window unless the site is scripted to open it in a new one.

So, just to check are there other options you're looking for, or is the only thing you're missing the open in same window option? The other two you mentioned are there, in the exact way you want them. Although one is worded slightly diffrently.

I was right clicking on your name where it links to your profile. I used to have an option of open in same window. I guess that's about all I am missing.

    Thans again for your help!

OK, I just double checked and you know what, Open in same window IS also an option. It's just called "open" though (The first option). If you use it, it opens in the same window, even if the site is scripted to open it in a new window. It seems all the options you're looking for are there by default.
