explorer qwerk

i recently got the internet and have been noticing every time i click onto internet explorer multiple pop-ups come up saying http://www.vx56.com/tms/click/?190 - Microsoft Internet Explorer...and then an error report comes up and shutting down anything i am working on??? I have tried to close these pop-up(not really pop-ups.....all the rectangles on the bottom of the screen. they will close when i right click on them and select close, but they come back. i also have tried to click on them but nothing comes up on the screen??? any help would be appreciative!!!
