    Hello
I used a program with my video cam called Flipshare. I thought I rid the pc of it but I find it when I type Flipshare in the search box. Many files appear and I clicked on file location which shows it to be C: >us> flipshare.
Is there some way I can remove this from the machine?
I noticed the Flipshare file itself warns against removing other important files too if deleted.

    >>I then reinstalled the program and used Revo to remove the leftover entries. It would not allow a successful install but revo removed a lot of left overs.
However, when i type Flipshare in the search pbox more files appear when i click C: to research. i removed all I could using Organize to select then remove hoping none of the necessary files would be removed.
    Should files be left over?

Check the paths. Those "leftovers" you see might be located in system restore points and not on your actual current working windows.

    Thank you, wil do.
I am going to use the program after all but I was curious about those .db files at the time.
    All set now.

    recover service pack backup files

Would system restore or Acronis image be better for recovering service pack backup files?

It was part of my .db chase and the 'help' never mentioned that you cannot remove a servce pack once the backup files are gone.

If system restore would do it, I would prefer that route but I do not know if it would do the job.

I wanted to thank those who offered help. Acronis recovered to a place prior to the deletion of the backup files for service packs.
I have found the ones not to delete are"setup log files", and "service pack backup files".
For those who are reading and are non techy like me there is s good site that will help you get out of many troubles called MS Solution Center.
    Thanx to those who helped.
