External HD recovery

    I have an external HD that has been dropped and is in need of lab recovery. I have been quoted £950 by a major manufacturer for the recovery which is way beyond anything i can pay.

    Does anybody know of a good recovery lab (the HD is in the UK) that can do the work for a more reasonable cost, i cant believe that any lab can actually expect someone to pay £950 for recovery!
