    Can you recommend a good external HD for backing up a MacOSX computer? I need about 50 Gigs. I would plug it in via USB probably.

    any usb hard drive should work fine under osx, i prefer maxtors one touch line, or a bit pricer is lacie, the make excellant drives as well. http://www.lacie.com/ is there website.

    Get like a Western Digital Passport. They're cheap and small and can hold a lot of data. They work great.
