Extra Harddrive

Well a long time ago when i went to go get my computer fixed at bestbuy, they gave me an extra hardrive, its been sittin at my computer for quite a while and was thinkin if its possible for me to install two hardrives into my pc, just wondering. Any suggestions on what i should do with it?

open up your pc, you will see the ribbon attached to your hard drive thats working now, install your other one above or below the one you have now. on the back of the hard drive you will see some pins with a little push on clip, look at the marks on the hd and line the jumper up to slave. plug the open end of the ribbon to your new hd, plug in power, four wire plug. ed

I wish i were good at computers like yall, it would really save me money by not going to get it fixed when its just something i can do, well everyone thanks

 

Its really not that tough, just take your time . mark with a perm marker before you start, make marks that match up to the things you are removing. you can do it. ed
