I want to run sound to the patio so that I can play downloaded music from my computer.
What is the best way to do that? At the present time I just have a regular set of desktop speakers. Going through my stereo receiver is not an option because it is too far away from my computer. It will be very easy to run wires from my PC to the patio (2 small surround sound speakers). Is there a way to use the headphone jack? I'm just looking for the most inexpensive and fastest way to do this.
    Thanks

I am assuming that you lost your first post about this. (You can always find older posts by going to the forum you posted in and scrolling back or go to your user cp and looking at your subscribed threads)
Anyway, I answered your first with this.
Are you talking about the head phone jack on your speakers or on your CD/DVD drive? They will work, but the back PC jack would cut down on extra wires running where not needed.
