Extracting MP3 from youtube

so i am using Fastest Free YouTube Downloader (for mac ) and i do what it says and all but the music when i xfer to my iphone only plays on the left ear - and yes my head phones work right) and when i listen to the vid on the phone it plays in both ears

 

I am not familiar with that software. A few things to check:
The video in is stereo? Assuming yes from what you say.
After you convert it to mp3 is it still in stereo? (on the computer.)

From the info it could be either the program that is extracting the audio or *maybe* your phone doesn't like the bitrate. Rare but a phone of mine a LG env3 doesn't like 244cbr for some reason. Any other bitrate of vbr or cbr it's ok with 244 it chokes.

 

it does sound in stereo on the laptop yes..
